He puts on a front of being ruthless and coldhearted, getting what he wants, when he wants. Coffee is no different. One night when he was feeling particularly grumpy, he gets snappy with the barista. When the small green haired boy fights back, Hitoshi can't help but be impressed. For the next few days he can't get the boy out of his head. He does some research and finds out about his poor financial situation.
