When the Emperor of Mankind was tampering with the Webway, the Dark Gods of Chaos struck to snatch away the still-infant Primarchs. Sensing their foul presence, the Emperor unleashed his full psychic might, the Chaos Gods could not contend with the Emperor's psychic blast but the Webway portal was caught in the blast and sent the Emperor and Malcador and some of his servants through a portal to unknown lands.
