AU. Cloud Strife's life has become defined by tragedies, failures, and missed opportunities that drifted through his fingers and floated away with the carry of the wind. Now, following the tragic and unexpected deaths of his best friends, Cloud finds himself suddenly raising their child, failing at even that and finding himself reeling from the inadequacy and anger that has been living within him for the last decade. And it all started when he was ripped away from the girl he had fallen hopelessly in love with, a long, long time ago, listening to her pour her love out for him against the keys of a piano. Circumstance has given them the opportunity to reunite, but Cloud isn't sure he can lower the bleak borders around his heart to let her back in. She was supposed to teach his son how to play the piano. Instead, she taught him how to love again.

Fifteen years ago, the rush of battle and combat were an everyday part of Tifa's life. With the world calm, marriage and family life have made her complacent, and Tifa feels like she has lost her edge. With a little help from Cloud, she reawakens the passion for combat she once had, unaware that ghosts from her past are ready to remerge, sending her on a mission of self-discovery.

New York City is supposed to be the place of big hopes and even bigger dreams. But when Cloud and Tifa reunite there more than a decade after separating in their hometown in Colorado, they're both surrounded by broken promises and empty wishes. It doesn't help that their instant attraction begins to muddle those promises, blurring the lines of their friendship as they both try to figure out who they truly are against the towering spires of the city's skyline. We all should be familiar with the lovable butt-hole that is Cloud. Summary; you go through some crap and then I'll try and make it as fluffy as possible and maybe add a lemon depending on how I feel.

Pardon some grammatical errors, I created this a few years ago, way back 2015. t was a tragic ending for her.. Yes.....Tragic.. But for him.. It was pain, sorrow, loneliness and agony.. She died the same day Zack died.. Atleast for him.. But for her.. It was the start of a new life.. A new beginning.. A new set of Memories.. But sometimes even if you already forgotten about the past. It will haunt you. It will bring you back.. To be able to remember who you were before and to never forget where it all started...

Being a friend of Barret's for a long time, you were not impressed when he brought an ex-SOLDIER into the fold.
