(Story written in 1st person, present tense) Where the strong currents of the Reef lead Ao'nung to the jungles, and there he meets an Omatikayan boy willing to help him get back home. *** Upon one of the usual father and son quarrels, Ao'nung decides he's had enough, and so he flees his home, beyond the reefs--the last place he's allowed to go to, or any water Na'vi for that matter. It's a forbidden place. A no-go zone. It was supposed to be a break to clear his head, far from home, but not too far. He was supposed to return. But within hours he's swept away in the strong currents and ends up somewhere he does not know of. The jungles. He wants to cry and plead forgiveness for his hard-headed choices, but soon an Omatikayan boy stumbles upon him and is ready to kill him. Ao'nung has spent too much time away from home and grows helpless. Fortunately, the Omatikayan boy has a change of heart and decides to help him and takes care of him in the meantime. Unfortunately, something called "love" forms between the two boys of completely different lifestyles and separate clans. Ao'nung is torn. After Neteyam was shot, he was brought back to the Metkayina clan. Ronal and Kiri worked day and night to save him, which they did. However, this left him in a coma-like state. After this happened, it caused Aonung to realize that he cared about the boy, pushing him to visit him every day. I don't know who drew the cover, but credits to them.

"Come closer." he whispered softly. "Closer?" Neteyam questioned, he didn't understand the sudden change. "Come closer to me Neteyam."
