But one day, the townspeople realize he's stopped coming into town. Some believe he's cut himself off. Others believe he's dead. So the town's leaders decide to send someone in. No volunteers. Until, strangely, a young man steps in. His name is Eddie Vedder, and his purpose for volunteering? Chris is the man who saved his life. But can he do as the townspeople request and bring Chris back to the town with him?

Eddie is a runaway from home. Chris finds himself constantly finding the mysterious boy on the streets, until he finally gets the courage to speak to him. He finds more interest in Eddie than he expected, and soon, he finds himself falling for the runaway, who has no intentions to stay in Seattle.
