Being a werewolf wasn't all bad, I had a pack, loving yet annoying family, friends, tight knit community. The one thing I really hated was the season. The simplest way to explain the season was the six weeks us werewolves procreated, females went into heats, males rutted, and omegas, like me, got our asses chased like they were made of gold. I'm serious. I avoided the sordid affair all together, turning down all those asked to be my season partner but with the pack leaders son on my heels and a new alpha in town, i don't think i can sit this season out.

This is a story I have published on Inkitt and I thought I'd post it on here too since I've started to update it again. 😅 I hope to continue to do so although the updates will probably be only once or twice a month. The chapters are a little shorter than what I normally post on Wattpad but I hope you enjoy them all the same. ‐----------------------------- The fateful day had finally arrived, the one which I had been preparing for since birth, one which my parents had been preparing for since I'd been conceived. Well, that wasn't exactly true, my parents had been preparing, and I on the other hand had been mostly unwilling with the whole affair. See I was a werewolf, my whole family was, or pack if you will. It was tradition for all those of marriageable age to gather on the strongest werewolf pack in the world, to try and impress the next Alpha to be, the most powerful werewolf in the world. It was a major honour to be chosen by the Alpha, for the individual and their whole pack. So here I was, packing a bag for the journey and time I would be spending at the strongest pack in the world, which was called the Stentorian Pack and was located deep in the mountains surrounded by forest. My parents thought I had a chance, they'd told me what to eat, how to act, and how to look all my life, needless to say, it had gotten old pretty quick. All the lack of control I'd had over my life had boiled down to this day, it had all been for this day. I had to be the most attractive, smartest, and likeable... you get the idea, and I couldn't help but feel inadequate.

Nikolas has never been much of a sharer, he keeps to himself and deals with his problems alone. He's always found it hard to trust, he keeps secrets without meaning to, he's cautious with what he tells others. He also doesn't believe in relationships, he doesn't want the commitment and sappy romantic crap, doesn't want the expectation to be open and honest with another. He's quite happy sating his urges with one night stands and he used to sate it professionally. In the past he worked as an actor in erotic films and he gets a call from his old boss, who directed him during that time. His old boss and friend Laurent asks him for a favour, one of his actors has called in sick at short notice and he can't find a replacement in time. He asks Nikolas to take his place, for old times sake, and as a favour to a good friend. Whilst he's in the area Nikolas visits Max, a good friend of his, they meet up with a group of Max's friends for a night out. He meets someone, someone he never knew he needed and it opens up a whole world he never knew about. They change his world as he knew it, his views and his heart, they help him in finding trust and honesty.

Matheo would attend the gala with Iris, and they would be the perfect couple, the power duo that everyone admired.
