The story tells of a young, sharp-witted princess called Zelda, who finds herself betrothed to the future king of Hyrule. However, her heart belongs to another; a poor, commoner boy named Link, whom she believes passed five long years ago. One day, she's taken hostage by a band of vagabonds and a mysterious man in black appears. The unsuspecting princess has no idea she'll be going on the adventure of a lifetime.
