Niece to the legendary guardian Auron, Kya, a High Priestess of Yevon whose duty is to protect the world of Spira and offer guidance to traveling Summoners, is left unsure of her true calling. As she travels Spira alongside Seymour, she unravels the hidden truths of Yevon and discovers her true calling. Kya is left uncertain after discovering Seymour's darkest secret and realizes that Yevon also has dark secrets. Stuck between her beliefs and duty as a High Priestess, she must choose between her friends or Yevon. Update 5/31/25: The story is now completed and I will make one last revision to the story in the future but until then, hope you enjoy! There may be some dialogue from the game written in the story but I do NOT own any rights to Final Fantasy X, only the original character, Kya. The other original characters, Kalani and Meiko are owned by a friend of mine.

The short version : It's a poetic diary! I speak on my life in my early 20s as I was living it, through poetry and conversation. There will be feelings, emotions, dreams and heartbreaks. Long version and background story : The mind can be a torturous place where all our fears, hurt and frustrations go to fester. The mind can also be a brilliant place where intelligence, experiences and fond memories can remind us who we are and who we can be. As a writing challenge, I decided to sift through the words on my mind, and what I've found is what I want to share with you. A hint?
