He's left depressed and crumbling under the weight of his responsibilities as king. But years pass, and things are alright. His trusted friend and Royal Scientist, W.D. Gaster, helps him every step of the way, but the skeletal scientist - father of two young skeletons living in Snowdin and the most brilliant mind in the Underground - secretly shares much stronger feelings than just friendship for his noble King.

[on hold] Dr W.D. Gaster, the Royal scientists in the underground and single father to two young boys. Asgore, King of the monsters and depressed loner after the death of his children and the loss of his wife. Asgore falls on his closest friend for support through these hard times, as monsters make a living in the underground. Alas as Gaster works himself into an early grave, Determined as he is to finish his work, things take a turn for the worse.

Gaster hasn't gotten much sleep since he started working on the CORE, Asgore must find a way to help his friend before Gaster dusts himself via overworking.
