A boy stood at the edge of the balcony, peering down at the floor beneath him. He knew all it would take was a single step to end all of this. End the pain. End the struggle. Just as he was about to take a step off the edge, he felt hands wrap themselves around his waist, ripping him away from the edge. "How dare you even try to escape us in this way..."
