Highest ranking: #1 in darkiplier-After attaining a full-ride scholarship for a college in Los Angeles, the only thing left for you to purchase was a temporary home - specifically an apartment in an underpopulated corner of the city. But, much to your dismay, you start noticing some weird occurrences: TV shortages, cut phone lines, and worst of all - a screaming neighbor. But when you finally march over to confront them, you see that it's a handsome young man by the name of Mark, whom you had met previously in your college history class. He seems like a nice guy, but it still doesn't explain what's been happening in your apartment. What's causing it? Or, more importantly - who? What happens when Mark's body is taken over, and you meet someone incredibly different from the man they possess?

{COMPLETED} This is my first story, so only constructive criticism, please. Also, there's no smut. Sorry not sorry. I ain't writing that shit. Also also, there's probably gonna be some gore, but that's to be expected. I'll keep the character pretty gender neutral, but I'm personally a demigirl so forgive me if the character seems a bit feminine at times. ◊◊◊ You're a pretty average person. Your parents are divorced, but that's not really unique. You're kinda pessimistic, some venture to call you "depressed" or "emo", but everybody goes through that phase. ◊◊◊ "Can't you just leave me alone for one night?" I snap. His laughs only fuel my rage. "I'm here to help you - Can't you see that?" he soothes. I just glare at him. "Yeah, making me kill a guy and driving me insane is real 'helpful'. Thanks." The demon shakes his head. "You don't understand, yet. I'm freeing you from the prison that is your conscience." "No, thanks. I like not being a sociopath." "Do you?"

* CLOSING REQUESTS/SUGGESTIONS DUE TO OTHER PLANS * This is a continuation of the first book, named aptly (minus "Book 2"). Some one-shots will be part two's of some imagines from the first book, so if you are new, I apologize in advance and hope that you will read the first one if only to get a bit of backstory to some one-shots. Point of view is in the second person unless otherwise stated. I like to keep things different around here. You won't always be the lover. Heck, you won't even be the friend at some points. You could straight up be the bad guy in the story. But it'll be fun, I promise. Not all of them are like that. I just write in a darker or more emotional tone when I feel like it. However, if you ALWAYS like being the girl/boyfriend or the heartbroken lover (which I have nothing against), then this might not be the book for you. There will obviously be some in here, as I do love some fluff when it comes around to it, but not constantly. There are a few reader inserts that will pop up every so often. I won't make it a habit for the people that don't like that stuff, but sometimes it will be in there, either because of a request or because I'm running out of ideas. I find myself in the habit of rearranging the one-shots based off of the part (ex. part one, part two, etc.) so there might be a bit of confusion as to where my parts appear in the book. Side note, I try to keep this as gender ambiguous as possible. Not all of them will be completely ungendered (if it isn't, it will most likely be female unless someone specifically requested a male reader), but I try to as much as possible. Hopefully, you can forgive me for that. And like before, no smut/lemons. I hope you understand, as I'm not quite comfortable writing that sort of thing. The closest that will get to will be some cuddling and light kissing. I hope you like it!
