Meet Taylor Voisey, or TaylorV. They're a large content creator, with an interest in Minecraft, and some Stardew Valley on the side. They joined Hermitcraft during season eight, and have made a fairly big mark on the internet. Now, meet Alex, or AlexM, their ex best friend. Almost three years younger than them, and dropped out of college to try and make content with Taylor. After a rough patch in their friendship, Taylor cut all contact with Alex, blaming him for all their problems. Or, so they thought. Now, Alex is back for revenge, and more determined than ever to make sure he gets the vengeance he deserves.

A quick recap of the last few months - Alex nearly ruined Taylor's life, Taylor's joined Hermitcraft, GRIAN visited Taylor whilst they were in a coma, and Scarlett was in a coma too, caused by Alex burning Scarlett's house to ashes, and before that Taylor tried to commit suicide, and to top it all off, Lily's just proposed to Scarlett, as she happily accepted. Yep, a ridiculous last few months, and all it's done is leave Taylor longing for just a single moment of peace. And with Alex presumably out of the picture now, Taylor's finally got their guard down, and is trying to settle back into normal life. Now, do they get their happily ever after? Well... maybe not. Realistically, was all this chaos even over? Where's Maisie been taken to? What if Alex wasn't gone? And what if Maisie's disappearance could lead to all these answers and more importantly, the real truth behind Alex? And as if this wasn't all THAT bad, a new and mysterious figure has appeared, only known by the name of "M", and only seen with some black glasses. With all these questions, problems and who knows what else coming back into Taylor's life, who knows what more horrors will come from all this mess... ------------ This is book number 2 in the "A broken claim" series, and yet again I've drawn the cover myself! So basically, they weren't very well known. And let's be honest, in the mcyt fanbase as a whole, we have likely all at the very least wondered what it would be like getting into a popular Minecraft SMP. And in specifics, one person in particular, Taylor, is one of Hermitcraft's biggest fans. So when one morning, when Taylor wakes up to an email from Xisuma, THE Xisuma, inviting them to Hermitcraft Season Nine, it is an offer they just can't refuse. But fame is never something that will necessarily help a person. Sinking into the shadows has always been Taylor's escape, but what will they do when there are no shadows left to hide in? Will they find the fame they were looking for? Will the community accept Taylor in? Will they make it through? Or will they crumble at the discovery of the toxic comments? Let's find out...
