Castiel Novak and Dean Wincheter lead normal lives until they were sent to fight in the Battle of Shiloh. When Castiel gets lost, he stumbles upon Dean and they become good fiends. Eventually, more than good friends. But life takes a turn and things have to be done.

**Season 15 spoilers** Dean and Sam haven't seen Cas in weeks. Not since the angel declared it was time for him to move on. However, the brother's run into Cas on a hunt, but he's not alone.

Dean is captured in apocalypse world after Ketch is knocked unconscious by traitorous bounty hunters. They take him to a secluded metal building guarded by Michael's forces. The angels torture Dean in hopes of gaining information on where Jack and the Rebel base lies. Unbeknownst to him, they bring in an interrogating specialist that makes Dean's heart wrench.

Dean stands over the freshly dug earth, hands in the deep pockets of Castiel's trench coat, weeping silently to himself. "I miss you." Based off a post I saw - pictured in the first chapter.

Dean starts wearing the glasses used for seeing hellhounds around everywhere to discover other things hidden from his vision. At first he notices nothing. Until one day, Cas shows up and Dean can't seem to take them off. Based off a post I saw on Insta about what if Dean could also see Cas' wings with the glasses on. Not my original idea:)
