It's Christmas time and that means Roman has to show up to the family cabin with his elusive "boyfriend" he's been telling them about. Problem is, he doesn't have a boyfriend, he just didn't want his twin to beat him to it. What will happen when he asks one of his friends to help by pretending to date him?

Fifteen years ago Hybrids were given rights. Now a danger has overtaken the city. An illness turning random citizens into villains and killing them once they have carried out their deeds. Someone needs to stop the unidentified villain before the city is torn to ruins. Enter Grian, an English teacher working at a local high school who has to be a superhero the moment the city is in trouble. All he wanted was to live a normal life and possibly date his coworker. Cue, Scar an art teacher with a heart of gold and a reckless side who enjoys fighting crime with his partner Cute-Guy. After all, Scar was never one to live a normal life.

Well hello there, if you're here then you've probably read Secrets, Struggles, & Soulmates! If not, this is a sequel of that book and you might not understand some of the references, but if you don't want to read SSS, that's completely fine! However, if you have read SSS then I'm glad you liked it enough to read the sequel! After having a wild dream about each other, Scar and Grian meet each other for the very first time.
