This is an AU in which Ash is not the same as the Ash we know from the anime. He hasn't traveled with his companions and he is mostly cold hearted. As such, he is more independent and significantly better at battling than he is in the anime. Furthermore, he essentially has the same Pokemon that he does in the anime. The only differences being that some of his Pokemon will be evolved, ie Gible will be a Garchomp in this story. This story is also a furthershipping story. The League was going well, until an unfamiliar woman releases a mysterious power that opens up a hole in the sky. Those strange creatures start emerging from that hole and begin wreaking havoc on the League.
