Karna-the sun-born child, abandoned at birth.
A warrior blessed with unmatched strength, yet cursed by a society that refuses to see beyond his origins. No matter how many battles he wins, the question of his worth follows him everywhere. His life becomes a constant war-against fate, against society, and against the truth he himself does not fully know.
All Karna ever wanted was respect.
Instead, destiny gives him titles-Angraj, Daanveer, and Duryodhana's Param Mitra-each one binding him tighter to a path that leads toward destruction.
And then, amidst all this chaos, Vaani enters his life.
Vaani-the moon-child, Chandramaa ki putri.
The youngest princess of Chandrakundgarh, a trained warrior bound by duty and bloodline. She becomes Karna's quiet refuge, his stillness in a life that never allows him rest. Their meetings by the river turn into unspoken comfort-Karna comes there every evening to lay down the weight he carries, and even a single glance of Vaani is enough to awaken something dangerous in his heart.
Vaani does not fall for Karna out of pity.
She sees his strength, his restraint, and the fire he keeps buried beneath years of rejection. Loving him, however, is not simple-because she is a princess, and Karna is a man the world refuses to accept.
Vaani's elder sisters, Rashmi and Dhwani, are already tied to fate.
Rashmi, the eldest, is determined to marry Ashwatthama, while Dhwani shares a sharp, complicated bond with Duryodhana. As alliances form and relationships unfold, Vaani finds herself standing at the center of a love that threatens to disrupt politics, loyalty, and destiny itself.
This is a purely fictional story.
Characters like Vaani, Rashmi, and Dhwani do not exist in the original epic. This narrative is a reimagining-crafted to explore a romantic arc for Karna through imagination, emotion, and alternate possibilities.
