As his consciousness faded and his back went flush with the bottom of the pool, he heard a voice in the back of his head. "You are not alone, Mieczyslaw. The spark in your veins shall protect you. Breathe, Mieczyslaw. The water shall fill your lungs but become the air you need. Open your eyes, Mieczyslaw. Open your eyes and greet the dawn."

Cora Hale had never intended to return to Beacon Hills after she, Laura and Derek left. In fact, she had promised herself she never would return for any reason. Then she got a call from Genim, her best friend and there she was, returning to Beacon Hills.

He would cuddle her at night, letting her curl up at his throat as he drifted off. Bo was suddenly wrapped in the human's arms, his fur nuzzled gently by the human's nose. Bo tensed but then went pliant. He had never known a nice or kind touch in his entire life.
