WICCA La Wicca es una religión neopagana. Desarrollada en Inglaterra durante la primera mitad del siglo XX, la Wicca se popularizó en la década de 1950 y a comienzos de 1960 por Gerald Gardner, quien a la vez llamó a la religión, "culto de las brujas" y "brujería", y a sus seguidores, "la Wica". A partir de la década de 1960, el nombre de la religión se normalizó a "Wicca". A pesar de que en muchos casos y erróneamente, se refiere a la Wicca como sinónimo de 'brujería,' hay también otras tradiciones de brujería que no se identifican ni comparten orígenes con la Wicca.
