She changed schools because her old school closed. Her Friends were in gem stone high. So she decided to join them. She didn't knew that Jasper was there too.

Normally I'd be enjoying this party. This was my crowed after all, but today was different. Earlier on in the day I had run into the most irritating person ever. Peridot, who the fuck does she think she is? She was so fucking lazy and literally never did shit and she was top of the class. She acted as if she was better than everyone. With Steven going on a self discovery journey many of the gems near little homeworld didn't know what was coming up next for them. Two of those gems were Lapis and Peridot, while Lapis wanted to make sure that the new gems living on little homeworld were prepared for life on Earth. Peridot had been dealing with serious mental issues, which would eventually lead to a disaster that only Lapis could fix.
