Life is not poetry. No matter how much we try to make poetry out of the tragic events of our lives we cannot seem to make anything as poetic as they seem when they are edited and made to look perfectly tragic and loving.
Love is the poetry of life, but even then we fall short of true poetry, the true perfection of someone finding their lost love. The true tragedy of someone who has lost a loved one.
Even when we think that we have found our true love and the greatest love story is our own, it is not.
The beautiful thing about it all is that it doesn't matter. No one cares that their love story isn't the greatest story the world will ever hear because that doesn't matter. What matters is what you feel and how much love encases you in all of its glory. So, love isn't perfect, but it is as poetic as this life gets.
