Chara and reader are both gender neutral and use they/them pronouns. The story is set in the future, the monsters have all been freed by Frisk and they all live on the surface. But there's still rumours of a certain 'demon' living in the underground and curious (y/n) decides to go and check that out-aka they go visit mt.ebbot and then meet Chara - it's also an alternate universe because the storyline isnt the same as the canon undertale story...kind of....anyway hope y'all enjoy ! I'm not the best at descriptions but i promise the story is decent (later on)

Y/N is a son of the L/N Shrine with a tragic past and deep hatred for a certain Youkai of boudaries. After his return to Gensokyo Y/N tried to rebuild what is left from his family's home. What will happen to our Last member of L/N Shrine? (disclaimer: I do not own most art used in this story)

Y/N was never a usual kid. He was brave, yet not foolish. He showed kindness to those who deserved it and show justice to people who he punished. Never once he showed impatience or Lack of integrity. He knew how to use his hate, but not let it blind his sight and collected power from love and caring he held for the people he liked. Fear was no stranger to him nor was blind determination. When the Monsters broke free from the underground Y/N is still hesitant of approaching them and rarely talked to anyone. He was a quiet kid and unique just like his soul.

"Psychotic tendencies..." As a child, Y/n L/n had a good life. She was always complimented for her h/c hair and e/c eyes. She had a loving little sister and a caring mom and good friends. So, if she had the perfect life, why did she throw herself into Mt. Ebott? When Y/n awoke in the Underground she immediately noticed how much nicer the monster's are. They all brought a smile to her face and she felt at home. Toriel was always a mom to her, Sans and Papyrus were brother's, and Frisk was her best friend. She couldn't have ever wanted more. So, why did she kill all of them? Her and Chara had killed everyone more times than countable together. Chara was happy they found someone they could connect with, and Y/n was happy someone accepted the fact that she was a killer. They got along perfectly, the best of friends! Murders, of course, but still best friends. And they were always just friends. Right?
