I couldn't think of a good enough story description for this, so... uh... Just read the first chapter to see if you like it :) WARNING: I wrote this book when I was 13 so excuse how bad it is at the start.

I register the popping sounds as gunshots. Immediately my brain thinks 'War'. All of a sudden it feels like someone is tightening their hands around my throat and I can't breath. I clutch my chest and try to take deep breaths, but I can't breathe. I feel my mums hand on my back and I realise I've slowed down a bit. I forget about what's going on around me and I just push forward, as fast as my legs will carry me. War has broken out in Maddy Richard's city of Chicago. She has to prove to herself that she can survive without having to rely on someone else. As she ventures through the city, she has to face things that she has never encountered before. Holding a gun is one thing she had never done before. Just looking at one she felt like she could hurt someone. Killing someone is another thing she had never done...

Kennedy doesn't like drama. She tries to stay away from it at all costs. She likes things simple and she doesn't like attention. Moving has a lot of negative things, but moving a month after school starts has even more. Kennedy doesn't think that it can go that bad. I mean the worst that can happen is getting interrogated in class by the teacher. She is horribly wrong, though. The worst that can happen is Hunter McCollum. The feared bad boy of the town. He has a reputation and not a very good one, may I add. He likes things to go his way and he gets everything he wants. He likes things to be his and only his. So when Hunter sees something he likes he doesn't hesitate to claim it. That is exactly what happens when he sees Kennedy. He claims her as his. The simple phrase, "Your mine," creates the drama that Kennedy is trying to escape. That simple phrase creates a journey for both of them. That simple phrase helps develop feelings that neither of them knew could be felt for each other. Note: I am slowly editing this story so they are a lot of mistakes in it.

Emma Faye was your regular 16 year old. She didn't care about much. Just like any other teenager she always made plans but never really followed through them. In her short life she has lived through a lot, and I mean a lot. Sometimes things just happen in life and hers was no exception. Her life has always been far from perfect. To make it all worse her mom suddenly tells her, "You are getting married." Tyler Evans is the guy that doesn't care about anything. He just goes with the flow, like he says it. He has never made a plan in his life. Things are just given/ thrown to him. For example, girls. He never has to chase after a girl because of his looks and wealth. Marriage is another thing he has planned. Follow both of their journeys in their crazy life. See if they both end up with an unplanned love. And see if they at least try to make it work.
