Buck decided to leave on a rainy day. The drops of water landing on his windshield calmed him down, making the choice seem less difficult. He packed up his apartment over the past month, not rushing it, only doing so when he had the free time. But Buck had a lot of free time. So his deal with himself hadn't worked out. - Maddie had helped him pack. She was the first and only one that knew what he was doing, and why he needed to do it. The lawsuit, while a lot, he didn't think it was a mistake. Not the lawsuit itself, but his actions with the lawyer to cause all of the issues within the people he called his family.
