Spinel comes to earth to attack Steven and the Crystal Gems, when she finds out Steven has a close friend not mentioned in his broadcast. To goad him into fighting her she takes the reader to another planet with her, where their only way of escape is destroyed, forcing them to have to try and survive together..even worse is..they aren't alone.

Deep within the forest in an old temple lives the last gem that has believed to have gone extinct. But when Steven and the gems stumble upon this new gem by mistake, they bring the gem back home with them. Little do Steven and the gems know is how this gem is going to change things.
