Why is it so hard to let go of a loved one? And why is it so hard to get involved in a seemingly perfect man?

(Basically I re-wrote the story.) Zelda Spellman never liked mortals. She liked the mortal world and witch world being separated. With her niece's dark baptism approaching, both worlds collide and Zelda falls in love. Will Zelda push the woman away? Or give up everything to be with her?

"What do we do now?" There was no solid answer to the question Hilda proposed to Zelda the day after their world collapsed. The only thing they could do, the only thing Zelda was certain of, was that they needed to rebuild. Regroup. So much could go wrong and yet everything was possible with this clean slate. Perhaps it had always been time for a new beginning. So Zelda would give to others as well as herself. (Also on ao3 @apollostrials)

What happens when Zelda pulls Ms. Wardwell aside to have a little talk after the exorcism, she never wanted to do in the first place? What happens when both of them catch themselves thinking about the other one, despite their serious effort to hate each other? Will Zelda find out Mrs. Wardwell's true identity and intentions or can she change the mind of Madam Satan without knowing who she really is?

It's coming and Zelda knows it. When the mysterious Ms. Wardwell comes into her life with a big bang, she can practically feel the undeniable tension between them, but Zelda has never been the person to give up on her morals so easily. Yet, it's coming and there is nothing Zelda can do against her...
