Having a best friend is probably one of the most amazing things in the world. They're always here for you when you need a laugh or a shoulder to cry on. They stick with you through the downs and always bring you up. When you break a leg, when you're sick, when your heart is broken there is nobody to call other than your best friend. This is simply the story of two best friends being best friends but what happens when they stop being just best friends? This is not just an era, a page in a book, a day in your life. This is more than that. To Tyler Oakley and Troye Sivan this is everything.

I don't have a Troyler fascination/obsession/problem/infatuation at all, why do you ask? Just some Troyler one-shots with no regular schedule. Expect anything but self-harm, really.

I met you and something changed. The dark wasn't so dark anymore. The light wasn't so dull anymore. I wasn't so alone anymore.

What if you could hear them? The thoughts they deigned not reasonable enough to say out loud, the things not suitable for even a giggly teenage gossip conversation. Would it be a blessing or a curse? Troye, the unlucky teenager bestowed with this 'gift', thinks of it as a curse, with good reason. Do you know how hard it is to keep a relationship with someone when you know exactly what they think of you? Impossible. It's impossible. Or at least that's what Troye thinks, considering he's given up on even trying to make it work. He's different, people shun different. People hate different. And it's better to go under the radar, to be nothing, than to be hated. Right? Tyler, on the other hand, has taken a different approach to a similar problem. No, he can't 'read minds', but he does have a part of himself he doesn't want a soul to know about. He's quarterback, every girl's dream guy, an academic mastermind, and he's also gay. He's seen how different kids get treated, hell, he's been the one to treat them that way before. Why on Earth would he ever wish that on himself? No, it's easier to hide, to be someone you're not, than to be hated. Right?

Vidcon 2015 Troye has a crippling fear of being stuck in an elevator, and when the fear becomes a reality, leaving Troye in an inconsolable state, what will Tyler do to help his friend? Will he find a means to calm his friend, or will he be too late, risking Troye's sanity in this moment of desperation. **Two versions, one PG and S (for smut)... Read at your own caution! Vidcon is coming up and Tyler and Troye will both be attending along with all of their other YouTube friends! With all of the meetups, panels, and interviews scheduled there will hardly be any time for either boy to stop and think.... which is exactly what both of them are looking forward to. The not-so-busy months that have gone by since Playlist Live gave them too much time to think about their actions and "what-ifs" about that unfortunate night... Will Vidcon be the opportunity they need to sort things out? Or will they grow farther apart? ¤¤¤ This Troyler fanfiction will feature many different YouTubers and I plan on using more than just Tyler and Troye's POVs. His bullies see his vulnerability as an oppurtunity to make his life miserable. And he is.
