The most annoying thing about Hinata is the fact he never shuts up. Most of the time, Kageyama can tune the other out but every now and then a certain phrase or conversation that loudmouth has come out with will just stick with Kageyama like glue. It's the dumb things Hinata blurts out that leads to Kageyama questioning his sexuality. Then on top of that, Kageyama needs to deal with the stampede of females that seem to be invading the gym because of one stupid photograph. Everyone knows that an omega can't live without their alpha, especially if they have a kid. Hinata is a single mom and a mated omega. But he doesn't know who impregnated and mated him. When he gets laid off from his job he finally gets the chance to find out who his alpha is!

When an Omega and an Alpha are friends people tend to tiptoe around them, this is unsettling for Hinata and Kageyama. In omegaverse there are three subgenders: Alpha's - are generally stronger than the other genders, they go through a 'rut' where their desire to mate takes over them and they can be extremely effected by an omegas heat pheromones, suppressants are used to contol their ruts. Beta's - Are generally normal, they dobt go through ruts or heats but they are less effected by omegas pheromones than alpha's. Omega's - are generally weaker and more fragile and tend to be smaller than betas, male omegas have a womb inside their anus allowing them to carry children, every three months an Omega would go through a 'heat' which is similar to an alphas rut, they become more sensitive and wet than normal and more likely to get impregnated during this time.

And when the years pass and the calendar lands on the 17th of June, Kageyama finds himself thinking about the boy he once loved.
