In the grand game of life, much like Chess, the Queen protects her King. She moves with power. She commands the board. She sacrifices everything for the one she loves. But what if... there was never a King? She was the richest woman in the world-feared, admired, untouchable. A kingdom of glass and gold built beneath her heels. I called off my wedding a month before it was supposed to happen. I found out the man I was supposed to marry was cheating on me. So I did what any heartbroken, emotionally wrecked woman would do- I booked a cruise. Three days. Just me, the sea, and my shattered heart. I didn't expect to meet her. Shiloh Millendez. The captain of the ship. Beautiful, cold, and untouchable. But one drunken night changed everything. I thought it ended there, on that island, in the dark. This is my first story and I hope you'll like it. I have always been admiring and crushing on my teachers so I decided to write a story about them. I just changed their names so this wouldn't be so obvious that the characters here are them hihi:)

"Let me kill your father, or you'll kill him yourself. Choose." Anger was evident on her face, every word feels like a bullet burning deep within my heart. "That was easy. All you need to do is open your mouth, then talk. But still, you never tried." I saw how disappointment crossed her face and a mocking smile formed on her lips before walking away. Away from me.
