Harper Rye can, to put it simply, read minds. It's not something she consciously does. Her quirk simply allows her to pick up people's thoughts, regardless of whether she wants to or not. The fact that she can't turn it off makes having such a power nearly unbearable. To make matters worse, she's somehow managed to fall under the radar of the super-genius principal of UA high, Nezu. He's sure there's a traitor amongst them, and is convinced Harper is the key to finding them and shutting them down. Plunged into a world she never wanted to be in, Harper finds herself on the fast track to becoming a hero, maybe managing to make some friends for once in her life, and quite possibly saving Japan from near-certain destruction.

Aizawa has been working with the police for weeks in search of a vigilante they're calling Echo. Although they only seem to target villains, they're a powerful force in the underground that needs to be stopped. But 'Echo' doesn't even know he's a vigilante. As far as 15 year old Hibiki is concerned, he just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. A lot. (I don't own bnha! Namura Yuji was a normal 15 year old with a pretty crappy quirk. He's quite the trouble maker; a delinquent at school with questionable marks and friends. He starts running drugs for extra cash and runs into trouble when a group of scientists try to steal his delivery of Trigger (a drug that enhances the users quirk temporarily) off him. They release some sort of monster on him and to get away he injects himself with the drug, enhancing his own quirk. Except it isn't temporary, it sticks around. So now he's got a way better, not crappy quirk. Becoming a teenage vigilante is the logical next step, of course. Meeting Eraserhead was purely an accident and anything past that was just bad luck. (obviously I don't own bnha. I feel like all my stories center around U.A and school life so I wanted to shake things up with a character that doesn't enter U.A at all. I also wanted to work with a quirk that looks pretty unassuming at first.)

And some guidance in how to actually fight. And I mean come on. U.A's perfectly safe, there's no way something could go wrong and put the kid's life in danger. (This fic was inspired by an interview I saw with Tom Holland where he mentioned being sent to a real sciences school to prepare for Spiderman. I thought it would be fun to do that with an oc.
