A girl forced to live in darkness meets a boy who lives in the shadows. Aelia, a practicing High Elf healer, has a hidden past and uses her work to try forget it. She tries to avoid the dark as much as she can, but when she meets a certain vampire who is trapped in the shadows, will she be able to get over her fear of the darkness. Vanora felt weak as she laid on the ground, a piercing migraine in the back of her eye throbbing to her rapid heartbeat. As she stood up to orient herself, she had a hard time adjusting her eyes to the sunlight above her.
