It was not common for a woman to posses the skill to heal the wounded. A young half hobbit-half dwarf has been living in the peaceful lands of the Shire since she was a small child. The half-breed noticed as she got older she didn't enjoy the things that normal hobbit's loved. What will happen when a wizard comes with a group of thirteen dwarves to the home of Bag-End to go on a quest.

Princess-general Kahlahari of Mirkwood had always had a knack for getting herself into all sorts trouble. Her father, sadly a rather short tempered Elf, has had enough of it and banished her from his kingdom. Kahlahari spends the next two decades hunting in Bree, where she meets Gandalf. He recruits her to be his apprentice, but that doesn't work out either. After fifty years and a fancy (since revoked) title, she finds herself back in Bree, under a new name and a human disguise. She meets Gandalf yet again, who tells her of an all too familiar Dwarven kingdom in need of reclaiming. The air was laden with heat. The sky was shining brightly. The stars were dancing around the moon above the peaceful kingdom of Lothlórien. The elves were already fast asleep as Irmo ruled over their dreams. The light that lit the majestic trees was faint but enough to grant a safe passage through the night. The guards nodded their respect as a tall grey figure ascended the trees, stepping carefully over each suspended step. The silhouette reached the top of the biggest tree, entering the royal chambers without hesitation as no one dared to stop him or question his presence. The grey figure advanced on the white platform, purposely staying away from the edge. He removed his pointed grey hat and smiled kindly as he approached a small silhouette over the edge of the higher platform. The small woman was lost in her thoughts while watching the stars shine above her head. She seemed at peace but deep down a great solitude gripped her heart. She has been roaming the earth for a long time and yet she did not find her real purpose. As she watched the stars, she couldn't help but ask herself who she truly was. The girl sighed as she tore her eyes away from the sky, feeling the soft blue runes wash away from her skin slowly. The grey silhouette stopped behind her, the smile never leaving his lips as he spoke up for the first time that night. "My dear child." His voice said, kindness filling the air around the two lonely figures. "Mithrandir." Ashera Dolren, held captive by the Pale Orc for many years had been forgotten as a royal of a race that had been obliterated out of history. She became a woodland ranger. Until the Grey Wizard came to her about a Dwarven quest that the lost prince of Erebor was to take out in order to reclaim his homeland. He also reminded her of the great prophecy foretold of her kin and the one that was to remain alive. Her. She was extremely reluctant to join, as her days of being a ranger were enjoyable but annoyed with Gandalf's constant insistence that what she is, is a gift and should be used for a huge cause such as this journey. As soon as she meets with the company, Thorin Oakenshield and Ashera are at eachothers throats, constantly. However, things change over the course of a journey as dangerous as this.
