Nagito Komaeda lives in Japan and attends the famous academy known as Hopes Peak, while Hajime Hinata was from Japan, but currently lives in America with his father for his father's job. But his love for Shuichi Saihara and the need to open up to the boy gets in his way too much. How long will he be able to keep his act together?

Hajime Hinata has a dull life and he loves it. So when reoccurring dreams begin to haunt his sleep and 'hallucinations' push his sanity to the limit, he can do nothing but hope it's all in his head. However, when a boy from his dreams joins his school he soon finds out there's much more to what he thinks. The boy plagues his every second. Hajime cannot understand why this is happening to him. But the boy is there for a reason. To tell him something important. To tell him of the unforeseen future was his job, but he couldn't stay away from Hajime. The boy begins to fall in love with Hajime, risking everything to savour the moments he never had with him.

Hajime Hinata's least favorite fictional character comes to life, as absurd as that may seem. And to make matters even worse, that character has vowed their life - their entire existence - into protecting Hajime. Warning: Lots of fluff and some scenes with blood. Dear diary, Have you ever wondered what it's like to be stable? Maybe you are stable. Someone who handles their own emotions without even thinking. Just going about your day, knowing you have plenty of days ahead of you. Everyday has the possibly of hosting a 'life changing' feature. Many people are naturally that way. Full of hope. Could you imagine being like that? I can't. I have too much to be worried about. I'm situated at the hospital most of the time, my luck doesn't help me either. I could be killed at any point by it. Well not as if I've got anyone to miss me, my parents are.... gone..... I have no friends or other relations like that. My classmates don't like me. If I died they would care. They probably would see it as a blessing. That could lead to hope... perhaps I should think of doing that. -Nagito Komaeda

After Kaede confessing her feelings for Shuichi, he managed to mess up letting her down gently & told her he had a boyfriend. He ended up asking Kokichi Ouma, who is already madly crushing on Shuichi, to pretend to be his boyfriend.
