This is a one-shot telling the story of Poppyseed, Quietfur, and Snowcloud. Poppyseed enters the nursery to find Snowcloud trying to kill her own kit. But in her efforts to stop her, she kills her friend. As if her day couldn't get any worse, her life will be changed forever.

Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres. Caring for him in secret, Cinderpelt soon gets closer than anyone would have thought to the dark tom. Scourge must wrestle with his emotions and only time will tell if his feelings for Cinderpelt are greater than his icy hatred for the clans.
