Y/N was an air bender, she was tasked with watching over the avatar as a punishment for something that she had done; something that the air nomads frowned upon her for. When she discovered what had become of her people, she was furious- but not at the Fire Nation, she was furious at Aang, because Aang was supposed to protect them, and he didn't. But was it Aang that she was really angry at?

You meet a boy in a tea shop and instantly know there is something about him. When you go out with the boy you realize just how right you were. You go through the end of season two and all of season three along side Zuko and the rest of the avatar characters. Don't follow the exact plot there is a lot changed but follow the basic story.
