After uncovering a sinister ritual in an abandoned factory, Jay and his friends are the only hope to save their small town from the supernatural forces brewing there. Season 1 of Mezzanine ***** When Jay moves to Sycamore Falls at the beginning of his senior year of high school, the last thing he expects is suddenly developing the ability to read minds. As if knowing everyone's darkest thoughts isn't bad enough, things get worse when Jay finds a group of cloaked figures-seemingly brainwashed-taking part in a strange ritual within an abandoned factory at the edge of town. Along with Carter, his only friend, and Lola, the mysterious girl he can't help but be drawn to, Jay investigates. As the group unravels the secrets of the factory and their town, they find themselves in danger from the sinister supernatural forces that might have been best left undisturbed forever. The Iliad (sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion or Song of Ilium) is an ancient Greek epic poem in dactylic hexameter, traditionally attributed to Homer. Set during the Trojan War, the ten-year siege of the city of Troy (Ilium) by a coalition of Greek states, it tells of the battles and events during the weeks of a quarrel between King Agamemnon and the warrior Achilles. The Iliad is paired with something of a sequel, the Odyssey, also attributed to Homer. Along with the Odyssey, the Iliad is among the oldest extant works of Western literature, and its written version is usually dated to around the 8th century BC. Recent statistical modelling based on language evolution gives a date of 760-710 BC.

"So, your name is... huh, that's odd. You name is Technoblade?" "Hey, if it's an explanation you want, then... well, I don't know either." Technoblade was a fairly average man living in Devalon, one of the smallest cities in Ardonia. Was. Now he's currently 4 feet under the ground. I'm just kidding, he's still an average 28-year-old man from Devalon. His best friend was incredibly successful, causing the growth of a rift between them. But Techno didn't need anyone, or so he thought. Change is soon to come, and it's up to Techno to decide for himself if he thinks this is good or bad. But knowing Techno, he probably wouldn't give a shit. This wouldn't have been possible without Red vs. Blue or my friend Johto Jedi on Fanfiction.net so please check both of those out, thank you. Also obviously this is set in the world of Songs of War by the incredibly talented Black Plasma Studios, so check out those animations on YouTube as well as another one of their best works, Worlds Apart. And if you're here, then it's highly likely you know who Technoblade is. I don't need to explain that. Also, this is NOT a Dream SMP fanfiction. It is a Songs of War fanfiction featuring Minecraft YouTubers.

Kahili is an Avian bounty hunter who has been trying to get by in life, but without any luck, as no one has taken notice of his performance and paid him high enough to get comfortable in life. But soon enough, an opportunity finds him in the form of a letter from Senn Voltaris himself; he wants Kahili to take down the Unyielding Legion. Soon, Kahili finds himself on an odyssey across Ardonia in a desperate act to take this chance he'd been waiting for, for so long. Friends will be made, arrows will be fired, and secrets will be unveiled in this four-chapter tale. All victories come from luck, but it is whether or not you take the opportunities given to you by luck that determines if you will achieve such victories. COVER NOTICE: I do not yet have an actual cover, but there will be one soon enough. Hopefully within a week I'll have a cover for this story. TERRIBLE STORY NOTICE: Don't fucking read this. Read one of my other two fics which are both doubly better than this. I'm ashamed of this.

Long ago, at the end of the Great War, the Voltaris were outnumbered. The war had gone on for far too long and the Nether Armada had abandoned them. Their only choice was to erect an obsidian portal for their leader, Ingressus - one that led not to another place, but another time. The portal was intended to only travel one hundred and fifty-four years into the future. But when the Deathsinger emerged, he learned that he had gone forward by one thousand and fifty-four years. Achillean Nestoris followed Ingressus through the portal. It was his goal to ensure that the Deathsinger never collected the four Prime Songs, and he failed. Now that the portal had stripped both of them of their Songs, the Tidesinger had the opportunity to succeed in his mission. But navigating this new version of Ardonia would soon prove to be... difficult.

They say the hero will always make sacrifices in the heat of battle. Achillean Nestoris made the greatest sacrifice. He became something unrecognisable, something unredeemable. What Prime Songs did to the mind of the Deathsinger bears no comparison to the monster that the Tidesinger became when he saw no other way of winning the Great War than to wield the Aggressium Prime Song, himself. What he did afterwards is a tale untold for too long - the Tidesinger's greatest secret...
