His heart still fluttered at the mere memory of the dead man, and his cheeks would still flush. He thought he'd die alone with his irrational feelings. In fact, he'd actually been planning on it. I died I'm not gonna get into the sad details but I will say that I died falling down the stairs. Personally, I find that to be one of the dumbest ways to pass away and the humiliation I feel will follow me for all of eternity. How in the world did I fall down the stairs anyway? What's extraordinary is the fact that I woke up in an entirely different world and I have no idea why. To be in another dimension entirely is something I thought impossible. Merfolk were the very foundation of Shota Aizawa's childhood. It was one of the few things Shota could look back on and smile. The mere mention of them brought a light feeling to his chest and a shine to his eyes.
