(18+ EXPLICIT CONTENT) "I'm good at other things too, sweetheart," His voice was gruff and husky, my lips unconsciously parting in a daze. He's standing dangerously close to me, trapping me between him and my cupboards. The tension is suffocating and thick, my brain seemingly unable to produce simple words for a slight second. But the seduction emerges after a moment, "I think you're just egotistical." It comes out as a whisper and my lips teasingly curl into a small, challenging smile. He quirks his brows at this, setting the glass down with a clink and placing both of his hands on either side of me. "I'm happy to show you." *** Adaline Berkeley is a twenty-three year old, young divorcee, recently catching her husband's infidelity. As the relationship tarnishes, she finds herself reliving her feelings and progressing in her practice of marriage counseling. Upon heeding her clients and remembering the diligence a relationship takes, she aims to be single for a while, not taking interest in other men. Jack Westbrook is a thirty-three year old business owner, striving to expand his work. He's charming, alluring, and charismatic, possessing qualities Adaline does not. Consequently, he's captivated by Adaline and insists on pursuing her, unaware of her previous situation. Is Adaline ready to trust someone again? What will Jack think about her previous relationship? Will her ex win her back? (this is personally my fav story that i've wrote)
