"Bernard," Judy stopped me in my tracks. I stared back at her, not bothering to move a muscle on my face. "You know, it isn't good for you to keep things all bottled up," She shifted her weight onto one leg. "You know you can talk to me about things-" "Okay, how about this? I said all rather sharply, before realizing I shouldn't have said anything. Her eyes widened, "Uh-wow." "Crap," I sighed, shaking my head, "Just don't say anything." "You were going to propose?" Judy seemed more fixated on the first thing I said rather than all the ominous things. "You've only been dating for eight years! The elves are going to think something is happening.
