After Diana's death Claude massacred all the concubines in the Ruby Palace and as he was about to killed Athanasia, Mimi protects her and beg him to spare the baby because she didn't do anything wrong and deserve to live. Despite so, Claude abandoned his daughter to be raised by maids. Not long after, Claude marries Mimi for political reason since she is the only one that Claude trust and also the hope of Obelian Empire and Kingdom of Stella to stabilize the chaos ensued after that.
