[1964 TV Universe] Morticia Addams' beloved husband Gomez has fallen inexplicably ill. Barely saved from his close brush with death, she and the rest of the family must cope with the devastating and disabling results of his illness. As time passes, we check in with his recovery and see how caring for him impacts the family. This story/play was originally written as a project for Rare Disease Day 2018, but was then abandoned. It's now been rejigged a little, and is being put up almost a year late. But hey, Rare Disease 2019 isn't that far away.

Never once did Gomez Addams believe his life was going to be anything but happy. He certainly was not expecting Death, with its warm smile, to come knocking on the door.

It's been a few weeks since Morticia's attack, and the couple are happily expecting a new child. However, when a note appears out of the blue with warning words, the Addams Family fears an old enemy is coming back to take Morticia again. Gomez is determined to keep her out of his grasp, and her takes away, believing no one will follow them.

When a long-distant cousin comes to visit the family, all seems to be going well. However, when the matriarch is violated, it will test the family to show if they are the criminals and kooks that society sees them as; or show a different side that will shock everyone.
