Runner is a small juvenile and one of the younger ones from his pack. While he was on a hunting group with the other juveniles, his pack gets attacked. While running away from the attackers, he trips and hits his head, forgetting almost everything, except for a few things: That these wolves aren't his friends and something was horribly wrong. Field is the beta of a generally hostile pack. He's close friends with the alpha and healer. He's a good beta and packmate, but everybody has their secrets. Secrets including why he's part of the pack and his family. And he has secret plans. And Runner is a big part of a lot of them. ----- This story is a rewrite of Runner of Fire, however, the plot will most likely be different as well as names and wording.
