After the battle of AFO & OFA, both were down and shigaraki's regeneration quirk can't heal any of his wounds because of how fatal damage he received from izuku's punches and izuku was now decaying from shigaraki's decay quirk. Both of them are now down since they finally fight each other at their full power. While Izuku was revive given another chance to live in another world where hunter and huntress kills all the Grimms.
