This story was written after Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and there are SPOILERS for that movie. Following Grindelwald's most recent defeat, Newt and Tina are finally able to focus on more important things, such as what the future might hold. The Fantastic Beasts movies do not belong to me. The entire Harry Potter universe belongs to J. K. Rowling.

~Book 1~ (completed) It has been several months after the terrible incident in the Pere Lachaise and the horrible death of beloved Leta. Grindelwald is ready to terrorize the world, with his neverending thirst for power and conquest. But in these darkest times can we find hope. A shimmering light that makes them fight for. A candle, dancing, shedding light on this cold world, which makes a huge difference in the world. This is a Fantastic Beasts fanfiction. Newt's back in New York for one reason & one reason only. Tina. There are ups, downs & love triangles galore. I mean, what's not to love about a good love triangle? Will Newtina live on? PS. It's 1927 when Tina receives a letter from Newt informing her that he will be returning to New York. During his stay, the two learn how to identify their developing feelings for each other, and, more importantly, how to communicate them. As Newt and Tina navigate through a maze of events and hardships together, they begin to glimpse each other's true selves and fall in love. I hope you all enjoy this slow-burn Newtina fanfiction, fellow Potterheads and Fantastic Beasts fans (A/N: as this was written before FBTCOG came out, some events may not be true to the timeline).

Tina wakes up in a hospital in 1925 after a difficult mission. Her head aches terribly and is wrapped tightly with a clean, white bandage. At first glance, everything seems normal. Only, it's not 1925. It's 1928 and things have changed. For one thing, Queenie is no longer living in New York, having moved to London to marry a No-Maj. Also, the situation with Grindelwald is a lot worse than it had been three years before. However, the strangest thing is the tall British man who was standing by her bed when she woke up and seems to be staying in her apartment. This takes place after Crimes of Grindelwald so everything that happened in that movie happened before this. Except that I'm saving Queenie and Leta. Queenie because I need her and Leta because I really like her. The Fantastic Beasts movies do not belong to me. The entire Harry Potter universe belongs to J. K. Rowling.

Just some one-shots on how Newt of Tina's lives would be if the other died. It might be sad. It's probably gonna be sad. Whatever, just cry and read.
