Akai Bara is a Senior at Private Replicant High School just trying to get through the year. Of course being a senior has its challenges and Akai deals with more than the rest. As the only Half Shade to attend the school Akai is subject to all manner of discrimination but she won't let it get her down. She has her friends Mya, Ivy and Isamu by her side as well as her adviser Tyrann and his sister Kaine. High school can be tough but Akai is determined to prove that she get through it and get to her dream college no matter what comes her way.

Sakura a 16 year old girl believed to be cursed is trapped in a classroom with Ms. Anderson her journalism teacher.
