Whilst striving to prove to her fellow employees that she is worthy of this case, things take a sudden turn however when Mirai bumps into an old friend who, somehow, is also on the case. Together will they be able to solve this case, or will they die trying?

Only one person knew this secret -- an elusive character using the name 'Lawliet' who she only knew through his kind, encouraging, and supportive text messages. After her mother passed away, Lawliet became Kaori's pillar of strength. However, her remarkable talent as a hacker doesn't go unnoticed by the renowned 'L.' Almost as soon as Kaori graduates, L tries to use her skills in the troublesome Kira Case. But she has no choice -- she must assist the Kira Case, or L would send her to jail.
