I wasn't opposed to the thought of an arranged marriage. In fact, I welcomed it. It was always how things had been done in my family, and I would not be the one to bring shame to my family by trying to change that. I wasn't opposed to an arranged marriage at all. I was just a fifteen year old girl trying to preserve what I loved most at that time - my education.
