Only months prior, he went back in time and brought back Once-ler with him to try and remind Greed who he used to be. Instead, Greed quickly developed a relationship with Oncie, but still continued with his business, no matter how many times Oncie had begged him to stop. So, the Lorax decided to teach him a lesson. And this was a lesson he was sure to remember. A lesson of love. [I don't own anything other than the plot and a few added characters]
