In this story, Gloreth was chosen by the ancient protector. It stated, that for her bravery against such a beast, she would be bestowed the greatest honor. The protecter of the realm. Her duty, to protect the innocent from the monster for as long as it shall roam. But there was nothing that Gloreth regrets more than what she did to her best friend. She tried to refuse but once she was chosen, she could feel the power that was passed on to her. She had never seen Nimona again... Until 1000 years later.
