It's the year 20xx, on a planet far beyond the known solor system named Pertam. Inhabited by anthropomorphic beings referred affectionately as Ganics, and biomechanics creatures knows as Droids, each possessing a unique organ called a Core that allows them to use the nanites in their blood to influence the world around them. In the City of Ytornia a lone droid from the slums is unique in his own way, having no core, or so he thinks until a pivotal event awakens his dormant power.
