Based in the world of Harry Potter, my original character, Vela Malfoy, is sorted into the Gryffindor house despite her entire family being sorted into Slytherin. She battles with becoming who she needs to be for her family and who she wants to be while forming an unlikely friendship with the two Weasley twins, Fred and George, against her parent's wishes. She battles the hardships of refusing to be like her family with their misguided beliefs and instead learns to love who she is and who she wants without restraint on blood status.
